Kapil Sharma gets us some BAD NEWS!

We have been hoping for a speedy recovery for our beloved comedian Kapil Sharma ever since we have heard about him being hospitalized for one reason or the other on various occasions. On that front, there’s good news that he has been discharged from a certain Bangalore-based clinic where he was kept for a 40-day anti-toxification treatment, which he wrapped up in 12 days cause of his upcoming film Firangi. But, there’s some bad news also.

As it turns out, he will not be returning to his show, The Kapil Sharma Show, anytime soon. In fact, he has NO plans to return to the Film City set for at least a year! Or, at least a close friend of his believes so.

The friend said, “The treatment was supposed to last for 40 days. But Kapil begged off in just 12 days. He needed to return to Mumbai to complete his film Firangi and start promoting and marketing it for its November release. There have been reports that Kapil is returning with his show “early next month” but despite recovering well, he needs time. Kapil is feeling much better. I can sense the changes in him. He had been pushing himself too far during the last few years. His mind and body gave warning signals. He wasn’t taking these warnings seriously. Now, finally, God planned this break for him. And it has done him a world of good. Kapil has stopped drinking completely, at least, for now.”

 “The show will return only when Kapil has fully recovered. Kapil has realized health is the most important thing in life. As for the show, it is very dear to him and it isn’t going anywhere.” The friend added.

What we also have been hearing for quite some time is that Kapil Sharma’s old friend, Sunil Grover will be launching his own show in a month or two and will be given Kapil’s time slot. Looks like we just saw Karma getting back at somebody here.
