Kangana Ranaut misses out on an SRK movie, courtesy Koffee with Karan?

It is well known by every B-Town junkie that post-Rangoon’s release, Kangana Ranaut was being considered by Sanjay Leela Bhansali for his next with Shah Rukh Khan. But we guess that’s not the case anymore. Buzz is that Shah Rukh Khan was shown two scripts, with one of them having Kangana in it, and the other one not. He rejected the Kangana starrer and went for the latter.

Flashback to Kangana Ranaut on Koffee with Karan. She was asked in a rapid-fire round by the movie maestro Karan Johar, if she was given a chance to work with anyone from the Khan Trio, who would she like to work with. Kangana, being the frank woman that she is, politely repeated “None”  since she did not want her character to be over-powered by any one of them. Could this have cost her the SRK movie? Or is it just that Shah Rukh Khan liked the other script more?

If this was the case, Kangana has sure learned the hard way that being too frank, although a charming quality, comes with its own set of consequences.
