Kajol was asked to return to Mumbai after she started shooting for VIP 2
Kajol is all set to make her Tamil debut with actor Dhanush in VIP 2. The film is a sequel to Vellai Illa Pattadhari and it has already gone on floors in Chennai. However, considering the ongoing unrest in the state of Tamil Nadu over the bull sport, Jallikattu, the film apparently suffered a minor setback and Kajol is now back in Mumbai.
The actress was asked to return to the city on the first day of the shoot itself. The shoot of the film has suffered badly from the start. The Tamil film fraternity has been extending their support to the sport and because of the same, several films have suffered a setback in its release or shoot schedule.
Another reason for Kajol’s immediate return was the ailing health of her mother-in-law, Veena Devgn as we had reported earlier. As of now, Kajol is in the city and there are no details of when the actress will resume the shoot.
