Kaabil is all set to release in Pakistani Theatres!
After the URI attacks the stress between both the countries has been very visible. This has now resulted in both Bollywood and the Pakistani film industry not entertaining any talent to be showcased in either countries. This escalated the issue and both the countries show equal hatred towards each other.
But now it seems like there is a change in the story thanks to ‘Kaabil’! The Hrithik-Yami starrer seems to be toning down the situation in both the countries. Earlier, Pakistan had issued an NOC for ‘Kaabil’ but now seems like the film will release in the country this weekend after a four-month-long ban by the Pakistan government on the screenings of Indian movies.
On the other end, ‘Raees’ is still waiting for its NOC and will soon have its release date. The NOC for ‘Kaabil’ was issued by the government on the recommendation formed by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to look into the screenings of Indian films locally, which had submitted a report to the Prime Minister’s secretariat this week.
Maryam Auranagzeb the head of the committee had advised that the old policy which was in place before the screening of Indian films was suspended in the country should be maintained. The suspension of Indian films started when Indian cinemas stopped playing Pakistan artists on screen.
Let’s hope to have peace between the countries after both these Bollywood movies release in Pakistan!
