Justice has been served to the makers of Baahubali 2!
Just yesterday, we had heard about a bunch of hackers who had launched an attack all over the internet with a ransomware known as WannaCry who had reportedly leaked Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales from the servers of Walt Disney. Turns out, a similar story took place back home with Baahubali 2.
A group of 6 people threatened the makers of the magnum opus of producing pirated copies if they did not adhere to their demands of paying them a sum of 15 lacs. As per a newspaper report, these men are now in the custody of the Hyderabad police. One of them is a theatre owner from Bihar who, along with the other people arrested, has frequently indulged in the practice of making pirated copies.
Bollywood and the filmmakers across the globe have praised the mammoth project for its vision and Rajamouli’s capabilities of storytelling. It would have been such a heartbreaking thing to see the film making it to the pirated movie stands!
