Judwaa 2: Varun Dhawan all set to beat Akshay Kumar!

Ever since its release, the makers of Judwaa 2 have been making audiences and exhibitors really happy. 17 days in and the film is yet to find a suitable contender.

As of now, the film’s collections stand at a total of 133.03 crores domestically and 210.05 crores worldwide, nearing the figures that the SRK-starrer Raees and Akshay Kumar-starrer Toilet: Ek Prem Katha made at the end of their respective runs.

The Sunday figures of Judwaa 2 indicate that it minted 2.82 crores, even with such a limited screen-space and after the release of at least five other movies in the timespan of 17 days.

On home turf, the film is about to beat the collections of Akki’s Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, which closed on 134.22 crores.

Wow! A youngster taking on a veteran like Akshay Kumar. He really deserves that wax statue in Hong Kong, doesn’t he?
