Jiah Khan suicide case: A NEW TWIST arises!

The untimely and unanticipated suicide by a then-promising B-Town debutant, Jiah Khan had left the whole of industry in a state of shock! Many people, and by many we mean Jiah’s mother, Rabia Khan, were accusing Jiah’s ex-boyfriend, Sooraj Pancholi for her untimely heaven abode, based on a letter that Khan had left behind at her Mumbai residence.

But then, came in some form of justice as recently, Pancholi was booked for abatement to murder of his ex-girlfriend and was asked to summon in front of court yesterday, which he did. But guess who didn’t show up for the hearing? Jiah’s mom, Rabiya and her lawyer!

Now, doesn’t this raise some questions?

According to a source close to Sooraj, “The case was getting delayed each time. It’s been almost five years and nothing was progressing. So, the actor and his lawyer Prashant Patil requested the court to frame the charges so that the hearings would begin. Time and again, Rabiya (Khan) has been delaying the whole case. On Wednesday, although Sooraj and his lawyer reached the court for the hearing, neither Rabiya nor her lawyer was present.”

On top of that, according to a report, in accordance with the law, if Rabiya isn’t present for the second hearing next Wednesday, a bailable warrant will be issued against her. If she doesn’t turn up even after that, a non-bailable warrant will be issued to produce Rabiya in court.

We wonder where this case will go, but we hope that justice is served.
