It seems like Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut’s rivalry isn’t going to end anytime soon. As the latest news suggests, Kangana has shifted the release date of her upcoming Mental Hai Kya to compete with Hrithik’s Super 30 which is set to hit the theaters on the same date i.e. July 26, 2019.
Reportedly, the release date of the film was pushed further on Kangana’s recommendation. Talking abbot it, a source was quoted saying, “The makers of ‘Mental Hai Kya’ have pushed the release date of the movie on the behest of Kangana Ranaut. While the film is on schedule with its post production, Kangana is keen to have a face-off with Hrithik Roshan in cinema halls.”
Well, this is not happening for the first time as even during the release of Kangana’s ‘Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi’, the actress chose 25th January, 2019 as the release date which was already selected by Hrithik Roshan’s film team for ‘Super 30’. However, it didn’t happen as the team of the film decided to postpone the release date of the film owing to its post production work.
Directed by Vikas Bahl, Super 30 is based on the life of mathematician Anand Kumar which will be played by Hrithik Roshan. Meanwhile Mental Hai Kya is a comedy film directed by Prakash Kovelamudi starring Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao in the lead roles.
