Is this Katrina Kaif’s game plan to survive in Bollywood?

Katrina Kaif is an outsider in Bollywood in the truest sense of the term. Not only is everyone from her family alien to any contacts in the Tinsel Town but she also belongs to the International soil, far away from Motherland India. Kaif’s journey was always full of obstacles, albeit smoothed by Salman Khan, his mentor and former lover.

Alas, failure crept in at the movies and Katrina gave four consecutive flops- Phantom, Fitoor, Baar Baar Dekho and Jagga Jasoos. It was again Salman who came to her rescue and gave her yet another blockbuster in the form of Tiger Zinda Hai, the sequel to the 2012 espionage thriller, Ek Tha Tiger.

Now, Katrina has devised a strategy that shall help her sustain in this industry that makes and shakes careers every Friday. A source close to her says, “Katrina is receiving many offers, but she is being more careful now. Having done films like ‘Fitoor’, ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ and ‘Jagga Jasoos’ with younger stars, which ended up being duds, she cannot afford to make another wrong move. She is one of the top stars in Bollywood, but she does not want to shoulder the responsibility of a film by being paired with a younger actor who does not pull crowds; unless, of course, she gets a great script.”

Her next few films are Thugs Of Hindostan, Zero and an untitled film with Remo D’ Souza, all with massively popular stars. Hope her strategy pays off.
