Is Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s next a romantic comedy?

Nawazuddin Siddiqui has made a place for himself in Bollywood with the kind of roles that we have seen him play. The man, who was last seen in India’s first Netflix original series, Sacred Games, has proven his versatility as we have seen him essaying a despicable human being such as Raman Raghav, a detective in what turned out to be Sridevi’s last flick, Mom and even as the Freaky Ali!

And now, we guess that the REAL test for an actor is on its way for the man, as Nawaz Bhai and Mubarakan star Athiya Shetty will be seen in a Rom-Com mighty soon!

Speaking about the same, the producer of the upcoming project, Rajesh Bhatia was quoted saying that, “My team and I were very impressed with this humorous story of an unlikely couple. There is a lot of situational comedy that plays out between the bride and the groom’s families and Nawaz playing the hero makes it all the more exciting,” 

When quizzed Athiya about the same, she shared that, “I am really sorry. I can’t talk about this film just yet. Once there is more clarity on it, I will be able to talk about it. It is in the pipeline for now. The news was not supposed to come out, but I don’t know how it did. Once there is more progress on this film, I think everybody will know. When everything is locked and confirmed, I’ll definitely talk about it.”
