Is Katrina Kaif writing a memoir on her journey so far?
Katrina Kaif, who made her debut with the 2003 Boom, never had it easy to taste success in the movie business. Mentored by Salman Khan, she gave her first big hit with the 2005 comedy, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya. And as they say, there was no looking back after that film. She delivered one blockbuster after another and consolidated her position in the industry as one of the most commercially viable and dependable stars, however, the flak for acting remained intact.
Never to take criticism and failure to her heart, Katrina continued to work tirelessly, both in her acting and dancing and today, she’s one of the most incredibly amazing dancers and has also improved her craft for acting, with films like Jagga Jasoos and Tiger Zinda Hai. Now, reports suggest Katrina Kaif is planning to write a memoir that shall trace her 15-year journey in the industry so far. When asked about the same at an event recently, she said, “I educated myself about the industry. I might write a book on it.”
The memoir might be titled Barbie Dreams, as Katrina has a Barbie Doll made after her, which is quite a unique achievement for an actor. Work wise, Katrina will be seen in Thugs of Hindostan and Zero with Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan respectively, and Remo D’ Souza’s biggest dance film in India opposite Varun Dhawan, all set to release on the 8th of November 2019.
