HURRAY! Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover might just be BACK!

This year has clearly been a rollercoaster ride for Firangi actor Kapil Sharma since the mid-air fallout with fellow comedian Sunil Grover. His show went off air, went into depression and a lot more in between. We guess with the falling ratings of his now off-air show The Kapil Sharma Show, Sharma must have come to realize that although the show was named after him, it was Sunil Grover who added the extra fun we needed when things went stale on the stage.

Perhaps keeping that in mind, Kapil Paaji is playing with the idea of joining hands one more time with Grover, about which he has been talking to his co-comedian over messages.

Speaking about the same, Kapil said, “Sunil and I haven’t met in a long time, but we chat over messages. As soon as he returns, we will meet up and discuss the possibility of a new show. Hopefully, we should be back together. The rest of the cast members are also ready to come on board.” 

On the topic of how the infamous fallout actually came to be, he said, “When he had left the show earlier [to pursue his own show, Mad In India], I had dissuaded him from leaving us. This time too, I was sad that our issue had become so big that it had started affecting our friendship. I tried explaining to him that everyone makes mistakes and I too had committed one. But he wouldn’t have any of it.”

Speaking about the channel going off air, he said, “The channel [ officials] didn’t ask me to go off air. It was a mutual decision between us as I thought we needed to take a break. Also, I felt a lot was written on the controversy that happened.”

Well, doesn’t this development give us a ray of hope now?
