Hrithik has a message and it is related to SRK’s ‘Raees’!
Everyone is aware of the fact that Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Kaabil’ and Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees’ will locking horns at the box office in January. Rakesh Roshan has already expressed his sadness on the release of two big budget films on same day.
And now Hrithik has come forward on how he felt about it. He said, “Hopefully both films will do well, but on the whole, it will be a loss of about Rs 100 crores for the industry as compared to both the films releasing individually. My father understands that and he is sad about that, and he thinks that it could have been managed in a better way, but we completely understand Raees was in the waiting for too long. My wish is that when both the films do well, Shah Rukh, I, dad, Farhan and everyone will pop champagne and celebrate for each other.”
He also mentioned how Bollywood is different from Hollywood and why a clash so big can never be experienced in west in an interview with Rajeev Masand. He said, “In Hollywood, no two big films have ever clashed. Batman will never come with Superman, Lord of the Rings will not come with Harry Potter. So there they manage it really well. It made me think that it is actually possible. I shouldn’t be okay with it, we should not be okay with it. We should manage our calendar because it is better for the industry. Both the films coming together will be a loss, if both the films are good, we would still earn about Rs 100 crores less in the industry compared to both the films released individually. So it’s okay. All I’m saying is that it’s unfortunate but it’s without blame.”
We wonder which movie the audience will opt for!
