How Shah Rukh Khan helped India win 22 medals?

Shah Rukh Khan recently proved that some of the Hindi film actors are as charming, heroic and worthy of being worshipped in real life as much as on the celluloid. Why are we saying so? You may ask. If you remember, we reported a few weeks ago about the actor’s initiative for children who have battled life-threatening and hazardous diseases, called Meer Foundation, in association with his IPL team, Kolkata Knight Riders, to support and guide them. That very initiative has earned India 22 medals. That’s right!

These children were heading to Moscow to represent our country at the World Children’s Winners Games, and met the actor at his residence before heading. A source says, “When King Khan got to know that they were going to represent India and compete in Moscow, he decided to take some time off from his frenetic schedule to meet them at his home and send them off for the competition. He met all the nine kids individually and spent close to an hour with them. He gave them a pep talk and handed them jerseys as well as kits for the competition.” Have a look at the picture of the kids proudly holding their medals:-
