Is Housefull 4 going the BAAHUBALI way?

Since the day the Prabhas-starrer Baahubali series debuted at the box office, Bollywood has gone into a serious state of overdrive as almost EVERYONE has become obsessed with making massive films on unimaginable budgets and sporting one helluva cast to bring in eyeballs to the screens.

And now, we hear that Sajid Nadiadwala’s Housefull 4, which is, in our opinion, best left as a light-hearted comic-caper, is also going the period way!

Yes, you read that right! We were amongst the first ones to tell you that this time, Housefull 4 will be super high on VFX and will be set in two eras: One in current times and the other in the medieval times. And now, we know that how much of a budget Nadiadwala is allocating to just the VFX part of the story.

As per reports, the makers are setting aside a MASSIVE amount of 75 CRORES so that the medieval era can be recreated to look as real as they actually exist. On top of that, the film will be released in 3D (Well, duh!).

Now, COME ON! You don’t have you make a period EVERYTHING?! First, a fictional period story, then, a period legend (Padmaavat) then a period sports biopic (Gold), then a period Queen biopic (Manikarnika), then a biopic on man who understood the problem of periods (Pad Man, the ONE period film we want to watch!)

What’s left now? A period superhero flick? (Which will be cool, but leave that to Hollywood for the time being!)
