Hot Scoop: Ranveer Singh to play a cop in his next?

Ranveer Singh is one of the most talented actors of the current generation in B-Town. He has been appreciated a lot for his performance in Bajirao Mastani. Well, latest reports suggest that Ranveer will be seen playing a cop in Rohit Shetty‘s next. But what’s disappointing about the film is that it will be a remake of the Telugu film Temper.

No yaar.. No more remakes. Why is the concept of originality missing in Bollywood? This is not the first time when Rohit Shetty will be working on a remake. He previously made Singham which was a remake of Tamil film with the same name. This year has already disappointed us with the remake of the songs from 80’s and 90’s.

Coming back to the action flick, this will be the first time when Ranveer Singh will be seen playing a police officer on screen. None of his contemporaries have tried it and it will be interesting to see how much justice will Ranveer do to the role.

Ranveer will begin shooting for the film after he wraps up with Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boys. He is also lined up with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati.
