Here’s why Harshvardhan Kapoor doesn’t take advice from sister Sonam Kapoor!

Sonam Kapoor has been around for as long as nearly eleven years. While she may not have really tasted all that much of a commercial success at the box office, there was no stopping for her brand value to keep increasing by leaps and bounds. On the other hand, her sister Rhea has emerged as a pretty successful producer as two of her co-productions (Neerja and Veere Di Wedding) has seen an unprecedented amount of success at the Box Office.

So, given that Bhavesh Joshi Superhero star Harshvardhan Kapoor has two tremendously successful siblings to seek advice from, wouldn’t it make sense for the man to take a pro tip every now and then from the two? Well, to Harsh at least, it doesn’t and surprisingly, even after two of his films tanking at the box office!

Speaking on the topic, Harshvardhan shared, “Sonam is in her own world, and she’s done all kinds of films. But I also think it’s easier sometimes for a heroine to fit in a lot of films…for example, a Padman is not driven by her, right? So she doesn’t have to be there for a 100 days. Heroines can be more free. For me now, the whole film will hinge on my shoulders…So, I don’t really take advice from her,”

Is it just us or does it smell a bit of sexism there?

While talking about why Harshvardhan doesn’t seek any adice from Rhea, he said, “Rhea’s a producer. She has more marketing feedback as opposed to creative feedback with script and stuff. Our films (Bhavesh Joshi and Veere di Wedding) are releasing on the same day, so she’s too busy and she couldn’t help us.”

Well, given how two of his films have done at the ticket counters, he could have used a little bit of an advice from BOTH of them, right?
