HERE’S HOW Shraddha Kapoor prepped for Holi 2018!

It cannot be denied that the bubbly, beautiful and super-fun Shraddha Kapoor looks stunning all the time, with or without any makeup. The Teen Patti star never fails to give us fashion goals, be it from donning the latest trends to getting her hair game on point.

Although admittedly, the Holi bit of this holiday is over, we bring you some inside scoop on her favourite things about Holi and how she protects her hair and skin from those unforgiving and merciless colours.

Her Holi Beauty Mantra: I have very sensitive skin so I make sure that I am well protected. I start by applying a good amount of oil to my skin. I leave it in for 20 minutes and then apply another layer. When I have played Holi in the past, my mum would always make sure that she thoroughly oiled my hair trusting the fact that when I would be home after, a lot of colour being put in my hair, the color would come of easily. She believed in oiling my hair and whenever I will play Holi, I always will do that. It’s a very understood practice in our home. I think every mother tells their child Betaa tel laga ke jana Holi khel rahe ho, baalo pe naa lag jaye, colour aasani se nikal jayega so all these things are mothers nuskas which are very helpful. I prefer fruit oil as it very nourishing for hair”

Shraddha also shared a fun Holi hairstyle with us: “I always leave my hair open on Holi. I just twirl the sides of my hair to give it a fun look. Before I create this style, I take a generous amount of fruit infused oil and apply it to my hair, it helps protect my hair from the harsh holi colours.”

Her most cherished Holi memory: “As a child, my brother, me and all our cousins would wake up early in the morning and fill at least a hundred small balloons with coloured water to throw at people on the streets and in our area. I also remember that my father used to apply fresh fruit hair packs during Holi time. Now I just use fruit oils available in market. They come goodness of multiple fruits such as Olives and Green Apple that nourish my hair and give them an amazing fragrance. And Holi is definitely about being with family and close friends for me,” the Bollywood diva reminisces.”

That one Holi dish that makes her mouth-water: “Holi is a time when my entire family comes together to eat good food and have a blast. I love jalebis and I’m always the first in the line to eat them.”

Her Favourite Holi Colours: “Even though purple is my favourite colour, I always attack with whacky colours like neon orange or yellow.”
