Here’s Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s ASTONISHING fee for her next!

Post-2016’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, we have been DEMANDING to see more of the evergreen Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. But, as we have seen, she was destined to NOT return to the big screen until 2018, where she will be seen pitted alongside Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in Fanney Khan and then the Rat Aur Din remake and a reportedly edgy thriller that is yet to receive its title.

But, out of these three exciting outings from the Bachchan bahu, it’s her paycheque for the Rat Aur Din remake that has caught our eyeballs.

If reports are to be believed, for the film in question, she’s taking home a humongous amount of 10 CRORES solely because she will be essaying a double role, which we think is fair.

And, if a source is to be believed, Prernaa Arora of KriArj entertainment is of the same opinion.

The source revealed, “Since Aishwarya has a double role, the film will require extensive preparation. It will be a time-consuming project, which means she will have to let go of the other films that come her way. The fee she has quoted is fair. The producers have agreed to the amount without any negotiation. Though trade insiders are squirming at the possibility of a 44-year-old female actor walking home with a fat pay quench, producer Prernaa Arora believes that Ash is putting a lot at stake for her film, and the fee is warranted.”

Talking about further collaborations with Ash, Prernaa said, “Working with Aishwarya on Fanney Khan has been a pleasure. Now, there are two more films we are collaborating on with her. Siddharth Anand will be co-producing the film with me, which is an edgy thriller. This film will see Aishwarya in a double role and we will soon finalise the leading man opposite her. Talking about the remake of Raat Aur Din, it will be a homage to Nargisji and is a special project for all of us. Aishwarya has already said that she would love to play the main role. I have also discussed the project with Sanjay sir (Dutt), and he has approved of the idea and our choice of Ash to play the role originally essayed by his late actress-mother.”

To us, as you know by now, her decision is as fair as it can be.
