Here is why Suriya’s NGK to got postponed!

Tamil superstar Suriya’s NGK, along with Vijay’s Thalapathy is one of the much-awaited films of the year. The actor surprised his fans by launching the poster of the film on his birthday. But, unfortunately, the movie, which was slated to be a Diwali release, got postponed due to the ill health of filmmaker Selvaraghavan.

As per some close source of the film unit, Selvaraghavan suddenly fell ill and has undergone an appendix surgery. Since he needs rest, the schedules and the artists all over again, have taken a back seat. The director will figure out the dates once he is fine. They also added that the film completed 60 percent of its shooting but still may take time to wrap up because of its delay in shooting.

Suriya plays the titular role of Nandha Gopalan Kumaran in this political venture NGK. The film will have Sai Pallavi, Rakul Preet Jagapathi Babu, Ilavarasu and Ramkumar G apart from Surya in pivotal roles.
