Helicopter Eela postponed, to now release on this date!
Here’s a disappointing news for all the Kajol fans that were waiting for the release of Helicopter Eela. The movie which was set to hit the screens on 7th September this year, got postponed by a month as the director of the film Pradeep Sarkar is diagnosed with dengue. He has been advised a week’s rest after being discharged from the hospital.
Despite being ill, Sarkar shot the portion of Amitabh Bachchan’s scenes with the IV drip needle inserted. The producer of the movie and actor Ajay Devgan reportedly postponed the movie keeping Sarkar’s health in mind and talking about it, a source was quoted saying, “Ajay doesn’t want the post-production of the movie to go on without Pradeep dada around. He wants the director to complete the film as per his vision. Ajay is ready to wait for Dada to be fit enough so he can himself oversee the last stages of post-production. So, he decided to defer the release to October 12.”
Coming back to Helicopter Eela, the movie is an emotional comedy film which revolves around a single mother Eela and her teenage son, played by the National Award-winning actor Riddhi Sen.The movie also stars Neha Dhupia and Tota Roy Chaudhary in pivotal roles.
