Has Katrina Kaif said NO to Aditya Roy Kapur?

Katrina Kaif starred with Aditya Roy Kapur in the 2016 romantic drama, Fitoor. The film, although exquisitely shot and stunningly picturized, bombed at the box-office due to a weak story-line. The film’s failure fell hard on both the actors, particularly Katrina, as this was her opportunity to show to the people she could carry a film on her own shoulders, without having to depend on any superstar.

Alas, life in Bollywood never goes as planned. And now, rumors suggest that Katrina has refused to star with Aditya in another film. A source said, “Though they are good friends, Katrina doesn’t want her career graph to see a low again. Ever since the success of Tiger Zinda Hai, she has been selective about the projects she takes on. Since Aditya doesn’t have a great box-office record, she doesn’t want to work with him.”

It seems the Phantom actress still hasn’t mustered up the courage to take on a film that doesn’t rest on a star’s shoulders. On the work-front, all her next films, Zero, Thugs Of Hindostan and Remo D’ Souza’s dance film, are with big stars.
