Good News: The Akshay-Paresh combo is back

The Paresh Rawal-Akshay Kumar combo has always been a laugh riot on screen, audiences love watching the hilarious duo together, who complement each other perfectly . And now after 4 years, (they were last seen together in OMG:  Oh My God), they are all set to come together in a film produced by Rohit Shetyy. And the director for this project is none other than Priyadarshan who has worked with the hilarious combo of Akshay and Paresh in a number films such as  Hera Pheri, Garam Masala, Bhagam Bhaag, Bhool Bhulaiyaa and De Dana Dan.

According to a source, “Akshay will play a loud, fun-loving Punjabi character in Rohit’s production. The shooting will start from April next year and take place in Mumbai and Punjab. Paresh has been busy with politics ever since he won the Lok Sabha ticket for the BJP and has done very few films, but he and Priyan are friends, so the actor is making time for this film. He plays a pivotal role in the film.”

Priyadarshan confirmed this project with Rohit Shetty, saying, “The film is being written by me and Chennai Express writer Yunus. The actress is yet to be finalised. After three years of silence, I made Oppam (2016), which is the biggest hit of my career. Its success is so inspiring. It’s time to come to Bollywood again.”

We definitely cannot wait to see the hilarious duo of Akshay and Paresh being directed by Priyadarshan back on celluloid. We also hope that the third part of the triangle, Sunil Shetty also lands a role in this comic caper.
