Fatima Sana Shaikh to star opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Saare Jahaan Se Achcha?

Up till now, Shah Rukh Khan and the makers of the Rakesh Sharma biopic, tentatively titled, Saare Jahaan Se Achcha were searching for their heroine. From Rani Mukerji to Bhumi Pednekar, a lot of names came out. And now, another name that popped up in the media is that of Fatima Sana Shaikh. The actress, who was called as Aamir Khan’s product till now, as she starred in two of his films, may come on board for this ambitious and audacious film.

A source said, “The makers are still on a hunt for the leading lady. Fatima Sana Shaikh too is being considered for the role. They seem to be quite impressed with her performances and she is one of the leading contenders for it.” Both Khan and Shaikh had an underwhelming 2018 since Thugs Of Hindostan and Zero failed to impress the audience. Given the subject and the tinge of patriotism and nationalism, which seems to be a sure-shot formula for success, this biopic could do wonders at the box-office, and give SRK the blockbuster he needs and deserves. It’s all set to go on floors from February.
