Farhan Akhtar to turn boxer for Mohit Suri’s next

Farhan Akhtar had received a lot of critical acclaim for his performance as  Milkha Singh in the biopic ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. Well, the actor is the actor is all set to play a sportsperson in his upcoming project. Farhan is in talks with Aashiqui 2 fame director Mohit Suri for his next. The film has boxing as its backdrop.

Mohit in an interaction to leading tabloid said “Goldie (Behl) and I approached Farhan recently with my script on a father-son relationship. He really liked it. I need another actor for the role parallel to Farhan when he plays the son,”

Speaking about the film Mohit said “The story is close to my own relationship with my father, except that the film has boxing as its backdrop. I was eight when my mother passed away, and my father raised me on his own. The story is about the struggle he faced as a single dad at 36…  I’m excited about bringing my real-life story to the screen.”

Apparently, Akhtar has even started prepping and building his body for this film.
