Farhan Akhtar to play Gangster, Dawood Ibrahim!

Farhan Akhtar is all set to play the role of the most wanted gangster in the world, Dawood Ibrahim. The movie is based on the life of gangster, Arun Gawli who will be played by Arjun Rampal. The movie is titled ‘Daddy’ which also is Arun Gawli’s pet name. The director of the movie, Ahshim Ahluwalia wanted Farhan to play the role of Dawood and the actor has already completed shooting for  a few scenes. Special care has been taken to make sure he looks his part and you will see him sporting the same moustache that goes with the authentic Dawood look. Allegedly, a makeup artist who specializes in prosthetics has been roped in from Italy and will be working on Arjun’s look, however it is unknown yet if the same artist will work on Farhan too. The movie was supposed to wrap up in June but the director had to push the schedule a tad bit longer . When asked about this, the director said, “The film is almost complete but the last schedule, which requires 10 days post monsoon.” After Rock On and Rock On 2  this will be third movie starring Arjun and Farhan together.
