Did Ranveer Singh snatch Kishore Kumar’s biopic from Ranbir Kapoor?

Ranveer Singh is on a roll! He has three BIG films lined-up, which include Simmba, Gully Boy and 83’ and may even tie the knot by November this year. Well, the latest news is that the actor is all set to star in the biopic of the legendary singer, Kishore Kumar. Earlier, Ranbir Kapoor and Anurag Basu announced a film on the late singer’s life but somehow things didn’t fall into place. And after the failure of their last outing, Jagga Jasoos, their third film seems highly unlikely as of now.

A source stated, “If all goes well, Ranveer Singh might soon sign the dotted line for the biopic. The singer was known for his quirk and madness and Ranveer totally suits the role to the T. The makers of the film don’t want to make a formal announcement yet but they have already discussed the plan with Kishore Kumar’s family and they have also given a go-ahead on Ranveer. Now, it needs to be seen if our Khilji is ready to take it up.”
