Did Abhay Deol play Ranbir Kapoor in Zero? Katrina Kaif finally speaks up!

Anand L Rai’s Zero, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif, released on 21st December. The movie has been receiving mixed reviews from the critics since then. As we all saw, Katrina’s role as Babita Kumari in the film gets dumped and is still not over her lover. Now, as per the news, it has been linked to Katrina’s real life relationship and breakup with ex Ranbir Kapoor.

On the other hand, rumors of Ranbir not watching Zero due to this reason also did the rounds. And adding more fuel to the fire, Abhay Deol, who plays the role of Katrina’s boyfriend in the film, is named Aditya Kapoor.

On being asked about the parallels drawn between her Zero role and real life situation, Katrina said, “I knew that people are gonna try and connect the dots but I also knew that when they see the film they can’t do that because the pitch of that character is so different. The pitch of that character is not me…That am not me. That’s not my behavior.”

She also added, “To me the way she’s (Babita) talking (in the film), to me it is outlandish as a person that I am,” she added. In another interview, the actor echoed similar thoughts. Katrina said, “In my mind, I’m exactly the opposite of her. I’m very subtle. Everything for me is underplayed.”
