Was Dhanush SCARED of Rana and Akshay Kumar?

There has been a lot of stir around the Dhanush-Kajol starrer VIP2, where Dhanush will be seen reprising his role as Raghuvaran in an all new story, which will be a corporate drama at the center of which is Kajol, who is returning to South cinema after a break of a staggering 20 years.

Along with the Dhanush and Kajol-starrer, we were also going to see big ticket films like Toilet: Ek Prem Katha starring Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar and Nene Raju Nene Mantri at the center of which will be our very own Bhallaldeva, Rana Daggubati and Kajal Aggarwal teaming up for a love story against the backdrop of a political drama.

While all three movies were heading towards a mega clash, seems like Dhanush has taken a smart way out.

Since VIP2 marks Kajol’s return to South cinema, it’s important that the makers cash in on it. So, in the light of that, Dhanush and the makers have decided to release the Telegu and Hindi versions of the film next week, while the Tamil version will release as planned. (August 11)
