Dhadak: Janhvi Kapoor pays a tribute to mom Sridevi!

Janhvi Kapoor‘s Dhadak, the film which marks her debut into the world of films, has finally seen the light of day today. The film, which is an adaptation of Marathi film Sairat, stars Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter in the lead roles.

All the members of the film fraternity who watched the film are showering the young actress with lots of praises and appreciation. But, as is well known, the young starlet lost her greatest support system, which was her mom, the legendary Sridevi. But, Janhvi, being the strong hearted and minded young woman that she is, resumed her shoot 15 days after the tragedy struck the Kapoor family. In fact, Sridevi was even present to support her during the first schedule of the film which was at Udaipur. Janhvi also mentioned that her mom gave some amazing tips to her while the first schedule of the same was underway.

So, in order to honor her love and commitment towards her own work and her children, the youngest Kapoor to have entered B-Town paid a tribute to her heaven-bound mother through a heartfelt message which rolled in during the starting credits of the Shashank Khaitan directorial.

The message read, “I LOVE YOU MOM. THIS IS AND ALWAYS WAS FOR YOU. – JANHVI SRIDEVI BONEY KAPOOR.”

Reading that very message during the screening of the same brought tears to our eyes.
