Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan starrer gangster film gets a release date!
Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan amazed everyone with their performance and screen presence in Piku. The duo is all set to collaborate again on-screen for Vishal Bhardwaj’s next. Based on the life of gangster Rahim Khan alias Sapna Didi the movie had already created a lot of excitement among the fans. Well, the fans have another reason to rejoice as the release date of the film is out. The untitled gangster film will hit the screens on October 2, 2018.
According to the reports, Deepika will essay the role of gangster Rahim Khan alias Sapna Didi, who had almost killed dreaded underworld don, Dawood Ibrahim. Irrfan will be seen playing the role of a local gangster who is in love with her and helps her in her mission to eliminate Dawood Ibrahim.
The screenplay has been written by Vishal Bhardwaj, while it will be directed by Honey Trehan.
Well, with the release date out this even hints to another big clash at the box office. How? The untitled gangster film will clash with Varun Dhawan and Anusha Sharma starrer SUI DHAAGA – Made in India which is also going to hit the screens on Gandhi Jayanti 2018.
