Is Deepika hopping on the biopic bandwagon?

Biopics are certainly the current trend of Bollywood, with Saina Nehwal’s biopic starring Shraddha Kapoor making news there is another sport based biopic coming our way!

While talking to a leading daily, actor-producer Sonu Sood announced his desire to make a biopic on the Olympic winner, P.V Sindhu tittled Sindhu. Sindhu is the first Indian woman to win the silver medal at the Olympics last year and made history.

‘It feels great to make a biopic on P.V. Sindhu. It’s a story of a girl who has inspired millions of Indians and given a message that everyone can dream big and not only dream but achieve it too by working hard’-read Sonu’s Statement to a leading web portal.

When asked about who will be portraying Sindhu’s character, Sonu said, “I’ve just begun talks, so it’s still too early to divulge that.”

While Sonu didn’t reveal the name, Grapevine has it that leggy beauty Deepika Padukone has been approached for Sindhu’s role. However, it hasn’t been officially announced whether Deepika will be playing Sindhu’s character or not.
