Daddy Dutt finds a daughter in Aditi Rao Hydari!

So, the hunt for Sanjay Dutt’s reel daughter comes to an end, and the aftermath of it being Aditi Rao Hydari bagging the role. This also brings an end to all the speculations which involved names of Alia Bhatt, who turned down the role, Kriti Sanon, Shraddha Kapoor, and Sayyeshaa Sehgal, who were potential candidates for the same.

Dutt believes that Aditi has a lot of untapped potential and unlike her previous projects, this will be a movie where she will be taking charge on the silver screen. Director Omung Kumar (Mary Kom), in his professional evaluation of the actress, concludes that she has an enigmatic flair to the way she emotes, which comes very effortlessly to the actress. He also states that her face has the perfect blend of softness and a lot of emotional strength, which is perfect for her role in the revenge drama.

The equation between the on-screen baap-beti is a comfortable one, as they have bonded pretty well over various interactions they have had in the past, and it almost seems like that they have known each other for ages.

“Aditi’s role goes hand-in-hand with Dutt’s track in the film. His journey is physically demanding, while her role will display an array of emotions. So, it’s important that they get along well. They are in fact being trained by a diction expert for the dialect common in Agra.” says director Omung Kumar, who is directing the movie on Munna Bhai’s demand. He also adds that if all goes as planned, the film’s shoot will commence in Agra.

Sanjay Dutt’s comeback film, Bhoomi, is said to go on floors in three weeks from now.
