It’s CONFIRMED! Taapsee Pannu will be a part of Rishi Kapoor’s next!

Taapsee Pannu, the woman who has proven her mettle by delivering spectacular performances in films like Baby, Pink and Baby’s spinoff on her, titled Naam Shabana is once again going to dawn a different kind of persona in her upcoming comedy flick Judwaa 2, where she is paired up with Varun Dhawan and Jacqueline Fernandez.

We had reported earlier that director Anubhav Sinha had approached Rishi Kapoor and Taapsee Pannu for his upcoming social drama, titled Mulk, which was set to go on floors once Rishi and Taapsee wrap up their films 102 Not Out and Judwaa 2 respectively.

Well, now we have confirmation that Taapsee has already signed the film now that Judwaa 2 is in its final stages, so we understand that this gives Taapsee a clarity in terms of the dates that she can allot for her next project, while taking into consideration the days she will have to dedicate to Judwaa 2 promotions.

What we also know now that the Anubhav Sinha’s film is inspired by a true story of a family who had landed themselves into a controversy and Taapsee will be essaying the role of Rishi Kapoor’s daughter-in-law, who will be carrying the responsibility of reclaiming the family’s honor on her shoulders. The film will be shot primarily in Lucknow and Varanasi.
