CONFIRMED: Sanya Malhotra in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Chhuriyaan!

Sanya Malhotra, who rose to stardom with the 2016 blockbuster, Dangal, is on a film signing spree. After wrapping up Badhaai Ho! opposite Ayushmann Khurrana, she has signed Vishal Bhardwaj’s Chhuriyaan, which will go on floors this month. The film also stars Radhika Madan, best known for her TV serial, Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi.

Rani, starring Irrfan Khan and Deepika Padukone has been sadly delayed due to Irrfan’s surgery and Deepika’s ill-health, so Chhuriyaan will be taking-off first. According to reports, both Sanya and Radhika have to undergo a lot of training for the film, from gaining 10-12 kilos for their respective characters to milking buffaloes, to plastering walls with cow dung, to carry matkas filled with water on their heads with perfect balance.

Vishal Bhardwaj always brings out the best in his actors and we are assured that Sanya Malhotra will deliver another impressive performance in Chhuriyaan after impressing everyone in Dangal.
