CONFIRMED! Ranveer Singh will give IPL a miss!

Since the day Gully Boy Ranveer Singh was said to have fractured his shoulder some time ago, speculations had been rife about the future of his IPL stint, which was either attributed to his condition or other unscrupulous things.

However, we finally have a confirmation on the state of his health, as shared by his spokesperson, which reveals that although Gully Boy will not be affected by his misfortune, the guys who are in charge of the performances at the Indian Premier League are left with no other option other than perhaps approach him next year!

The spokesperson revealed that, “After multiple medical check-ups, the doctors have strongly advised Ranveer Singh to not perform at this year’s IPL opening ceremony in which he was doing the grand finale act. They feel his high-energy performance would only overstrain his shoulder and aggravate the injury. Ranveer will continue to shoot for Gully Boy as per its shooting schedule which is not physically strenuous since only performance-based talkie scenes are left to be shot.”

Well, in the light of this, we wish the Padmaavat actor the best of health and a speedy recovery.
