Box Office Verdict: Ittefaq stays ROCK STEADY!

Not every remake is able to create the same magic as the original. But in the case of the Sonakshi Sinha–Sidharth Malhotra-starrer Ittefaq, it seems like the magic from the original has been recreated, if the box office numbers are to go by.

Here’s how much Ittefaq, a film which opened to a reasonable number of 1500 screens in India, has made so far:

Day 1 (Friday, November 3, 2017) – 4.05 Crores

Day 2 (Saturday, November 4, 2017) – 5.50 Crores

Day 3 (Sunday, November 5, 2017) – 6.50 Crores

Total: 16.05 Crores

If you’re wondering how is Ittefaq holding up against this weekend’s big release, Thor: Ragnarok, then let us tell you that the Marvel Studios film is operating on a different tangent altogether! As of now, standing at a figure of 27.66 crores, this third film in the Thor franchise has beaten the lifetime collections of the previous two Thor films in just three days.

We just hope that word of mouth kicks in soon for Ittefaq.
