Box Office Battle: Golmaal Again SLAMS Judwaa 2!

This festive season, the cast and crew of Golmaal Again have got a yet another reason to rejoice, courtesy the raging success that their latest outing has received. Within 10 days of its release, the film has collected a total of 153.94 crores, which means that in less than a week, Ajay Devgn, Rohit Shetty and gang has surpassed Varun Dhawan’s Judwaa 2 and Akshay Kumar’s Jolly LLB 2.

With the current figures, the film has become the second highest grosser of the year after Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, which has made a new league all of its own with a figure of over 511 crores!

Speaking about the same, Rohit Shetty said, “We waited more than seven years for the right subject to take the ‘Golmaal’ franchise forward. What we have achieved is very exciting and humbling, all thanks to the love showered upon us by fans across the globe,”

Although we can definitely not expect the film to join the same league as Baahubali, at least can we expect this (logic-less) masala entertainer to enter the 200 crore club? We shall find out!
