Box Office Analysis: Varun Dhawan’s October stays slow and steady!
Clearly, the most heartening experience that we had of late was attending the screening of the emotional tsunami that was Varun Dhawan’s Shoojit Sircar directorial, October. The film, that showcases the fresh pairing of Dhawan Jr. and newcomer Banita Sandhu as Dan and Shiuli respectively has struck a chord with many, although we must admit that there are quite a few exceptions to that rule.
But, if the numbers that the film has posted on its opening weekend are to go by, it seems to be doing just fine at the ticket counters, given its niche nature and release size.

#October witnessed ample growth on Sat and Sun, after a slow start on Fri morning/noon… While the trending is healthy, it’s all about maintaining the pace on weekdays now… Fri 5.04 cr, Sat 7.47 cr, Sun 7.74 cr. Total: ₹ 20.25 cr. India biz.
