Bollywood comes out in support of Sanjay Leela Bhansali
In the aftermath of a violent protest staged by Karni Sena on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati, Bollywood has come out in full support of the director.
While Karan Johar referred to his distasteful experience before the release of ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, Sonam Kapoor too took to Twitter to send some strength SLB’s way.
The incident took place when the Padmavati team was filming at Jaigarh fort in Jaipur and were attacked by the Karni Sena volunteers irked by the alleged incorrect portrayal of Rani Padmavati.
Other B-town celebs also showed their support…
Am appalled at what has happened with Sanjay Bhansali….this is the time for all us as an industry to stand by our people and fraternity!!

Just because a lead actor plays a villain , it does not mean that the film shows what is being assumed..
