Bollywood celebs react on the ban on Rs 500 and 1000 notes
The clock has struck 12 and starting today, all Indian currency with denominations of 500 and 1000 will be considered invalid. Yesterday evening, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced this decision to curb the prevalence of black money and fake notes in India, which were being circulated in the markets since last month. Though there are many celebs who have appreciated and welcomed this move taken by the government, it has led to problems for the common people as banks will remain shut for customers and ATM’s will not operate for two days.
This is what B-Town celebs had to say about the issue.
This is truly a masterstroke move!!!! @narendramodi hits it out of the stadium!!!!
