Bobby Deol was to star in ‘Jab We Met’ but Imtiaz Ali cheated him?!
It seems like Bobby Deol son of the evergreen superstar Dharmendra has been speaking about his bitter experiences with director Imtiaz Ali at his 50th birthday bash. Earlier among the other actors from B-Town, Bobby was quite famous and had an exceptional female fan following.
It’s been quite long now that Bobby Deol’s frustration has come out fumingly regarding his career which flashed him back to his bitter past. According to an eminent tabloid, the actor claimed that he had to play a role in Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Jab we met’ which was initially titled as ‘Geet’.
Bobby Deol suggested Kareena Kapoor be cast as the lead. Moreover, Bobby even brought Shri Ashtvinayak Films on board, under whose banner the film was later released. He also revealed that he feels cheated by the director and was heartbroken when he came to know that he had been replaced by the actor Shahid Kapoor.
Ouch that hurts, we hope Bobby’s comeback movie ‘Poster Boys’ makes him think positively again!
