BIGG BOSS 12: When the makers wanted Shah Rukh Khan over Salman!

Shah Rukh Khan can charm anyone with his wit and sense of humor, both wicked and unpredictable. Given his stint as a host with shows like Kaun Banega Crorepati 3, Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain and more recently, Ted Talks India: Nayi Soch, one can blindly rely on the fact that he can give the viewers a fantastically entertaining time. And on the other side of the spectrum is Salman Khan, who’s nonchalance and carefree nature has made him the man of the masses and who enjoys immense adulation among the ruffians. Despite the failure of the third season of Dus Ka Dum, he’s all set to be back as the host of Bigg Boss 12 on September 16.

As the launch of the newest season is currently underway in Goa with Bhai unveiling the contestants, the actor has just dropped a statement that was quite surprising. Well, here’s what he said, “Shah Rukh Khan was the first choice to host Bigg Boss but he couldn’t make it due to his shoots and shoulder injury. I also got to know about this recently. I want to thank SRK and Colors for giving me BB.”

Known for stirring up controversies and fueling rivalries, the 12th season should be as spicy and saucy.
