BHARAT: Priyanka Chopra’s remuneration FINALLY revealed!

There were a lot of reports regarding the remuneration of Priyanka Chopra for her film, Bharat. We reported that the actress will be getting paid a whopping 12 crores for the Salman Khan starrer. Then came the news that the actress will be doing the film for free as its being directed by her good friend, Ali Abbas Zafar! But FINALLY and hopefully for the last time, her pay-cheque for the period drama has been revealed.

If reports are to be believed, Priyanka will take home over 6.50 crores for the film and this makes her one of the highest paid actresses in the industry. Deepika Padukone was paid 12 crores for Padmaavat and Kangana Ranaut around 11 crores for Katti Batti. But given the remunerations of the male actors, with Ranbir Kapoor charging over 38 crores for Tamasha and Varun Dhawan being paid over 15 crores for his next dance film with Remo D’ Souza, we still have a long way to go in terms of equal pay.
