Batti Gul Meter Chalu may be off to a flying start at the box-office tomorrow!

Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam will face their litmus test at the box-office tomorrow when Batti Gul Meter Chalu makes its way to the cinemas. Having said that, they don’t have to worry as they have a promising content to rely on and some entertaining and contagious dialogues. And as we reported a few days ago, Shahid and Shraddha’s previous blockbusters would help this film getting some impressive numbers on Day 1.

In fact, some exhibitors are confident the film will do very well on its opening day. One of them stated, “Batti Gul Meter Chalu is in the zone of films like Jolly LLB, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and Pad Man. It is a social drama with the right degrees of entertainment and rooting social cause. These types of films, I believe, in today’s times, become very relevant today, thanks to the level of awareness that people have about issues concerning the society. As long as it manages to engage and entertain people, I am sure it can reach a respectable lifetime total.”
