ARJUN REDDY REMAKE: Not Tara Sutaria, Kiara Advani to star opposite Shahid Kapoor!

As we all know, the Hindi remake of the Telugu hit Arjun Reddy, starring Shahid Kapoor, was supposed to star debutante Tara Sutaria as the leading lady. But, due to some unknown reasons, the actress opted out of the movie a few months back and is currently looking forward to making her debut with Karan Johar’s Student of the Year 2. Well, the makers had been hunting for a female lead since then, and have finally found their leading lady in none other than Kiara Advani.

Confirming the news, a source was quoted by a leading daily, “When the film’s director Sandeep Vanga approached her for the role, Kiara instantly jumped on the bandwagon! The actress is all kicked to play the part, and will join the sets of the film soon.”

Kiara is reportedly said to be busy with her Telugu project alongside Ram Charan and is currently shooting for it. On the other hand, Shahid, who was on a parental break after becoming a father for the second time, will commence the shoot from October first week. The film is all set to release on June 21, 2019!
