Arjun Rampal’s brother-in-law accused of molestation!

People in power, be it businessmen or film celebrities, often misuse their positions and cross the lines of decency. Accusations of molestation or sexual harassment seem to be piling up over the last few years. Recently, veteran actor Jeetendra was accused of sexual harassment and the news was no less than shocking.

And now, Arjun Rampal’s brother-in-law, Amit Gill, has been booked for allegedly molesting an air-hostess. According to reports, the air-hostess worked with a private airline and was Gill’s client as she had given him Rs 18 lakh to invest on her behalf. Amit had reportedly promised good returns on the amount but later refused to return the principal amount as well as an interest of Rs 6 lakh.  A common friend of the victim advised her to invest with Aman Gill as he could help her earn a profit of Rs. 5 lacs.

Media reports further quote her as saying that she was encouraged by the promise of good returns and thus, decided to withdraw her fixed deposit of Rs 18 lakh and share it with Gill. They had met at Taj Lands’ End in Bandra to make the agreement.

Media reports also suggest that when she demanded the remaining Rs. 6 lacs interest from Amit, he threatened her with her obscene pictures and asked her not to ask for money or he would post the images online. The images were allegedly taken back in August, 2016 when Gill invited her to his house and spiked her drink.

Paramjit Singh Dahiya, Deputy Commissioner Of Police, Zone IX was reported as saying that they have registered a case against Gill and are investigating the matter.
