Are the makers of Kedarnath AFRAID of Akshay-Rajinikanth’s 2.0?
Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth’s 2.0 has been in the post-production phase for quite some time now, primarily due to the impending VFX work which is something that its director, Shankar is famously obsessed with. After multiple delays, Shankar, on one starry night, tweeted out what he thinks is the final release date of his super magnum-opus, which is November 30th of this year, because if this tweet by the director is to go by, the VFX companies have finally given him a final delivery date. So, in all likelihood, November 30th can be considered to be the day when we will finally see what Shankar has created.
While we are excited for the release of the sci-fi magnum opus, reportedly, the makers of Sushant Singh Rajput & Sara Ali Khan’s Kedarnath are sitting worried in their office spaces as their outing was slated to release in the last week of November as well. If reports are to be believed, the makers are in fact contemplating upon postponing the release of their film a little bit further.
So, this means that Sara Ali Khan will debut with Rohit Shetty’s Simmba instead of the Abhishek Kapoor directorial.
While speaking about Simmba, a source was quoted saying that, “Rohit, who was in Argentina for Khatron Ke Khiladi, has arrived in Mumbai and will begin the next schedule today. The film should wrap up by mid-October because it is being readied for a year-end release.”
