Are Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh going to star in SLB’s next?

Post the humongous success of Padmaavat, one practically heard NOTHING about what its helmer, Sanjay Leela Bhansali had been up to, with the exceptions of a few stories flying here and there with regards to Salman Khan being a part of his upcoming film, for which he reportedly already has a title.

But now, rumour mills are abuzz with the piece of news that Bhansali may cast his current favourite male lead, Ranveer Singh and his Gully Boy co-star Alia Bhatt for a film. But, reportedly, there’s a chance that the casting in question may not happen.

Speaking about the same, a source was quoted as, “Ideally, Sanjay Bhansali would’ve liked to cast his favourite hero Ranveer Singh with Alia Bhatt whose work he really likes. While he has not given up on the idea of pairing the two he is sceptical about repeating the two actors no matter how different his film may be in theme, mood and treatment from Zoya Akhtar’s.”

But, it doesn’t mean that the pairing is completely off the table, right?
