Anushka Sharma wants to do a chick-flick!

Bollywood is going over from male centric films to women centric films. Especially after Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Queen’ and Vidya Balan’s ‘Kahani’ we’re hoping the industry will get to see more women dominate the box office. Off late Anushka Sharma has done it all – She has produced an action film and acted in it too, done a two heroine film and so much more.

Recently in an interview, she expressed her desire to do a chick-flick. She said, “I would love to do a chick flick. I love exploring new things and genres so I am looking forward to doing one. Bridesmaids is my favorite. It’s out-and-out funny, hilarious and unapologetically entertaining.”

She further explained why she kept away from the genre so far, “I have been wanting to do a chick flick but you have to find the correct writers for it. It cannot be the same old stereotypical story. It needs to have a new language or a new idea to tackle. There needs to be something relevant and interesting. The minute I find a good writer, I am totally on!”

Her quirky personality is perfect for a chick-flick, we would love to see Anushka Sharma in this genre!
